RETURNS/REFUNDS POLICY
Thank you for shopping at Builders-Mart and building your dream home with us. Please keep the following in mind to enable us to have our valued customers completely satisfied with their purchases at our store:
Standard sale terms are applicable but not limited to all sales of goods on cash, charge cards, financing by any credit organisations, and bulk deposits. Standard sale terms do not apply to any sales on credit.
All goods stated in this invoice are sold voetstoots in the condition they are in upon delivery or collection. Builders-Mart makes no representations and provides no warranty as to the fitness of the goods for the purpose required by the customer.
3. DELIVERY OR COLLECTIONS:
The goods are delivered to the customer or a customer representative at the point of sale, and delivery or collection shall be regarded as complete upon the customer affixing their signature hereto. Layby collections time is 90 days; if you want to extend the layby period or confirm lead time, customers need to confirm with the relevant manager. Collect goods on the same day of purchase.
Payment is required upon delivery or collection for the total amount reflected on the invoice, including tax. Quotes are only valid for two weeks. Paid invoice collection date must also be confirmed by the relevant manager. If goods are collected after more than 90 days, pricing changes and additional storage and handling fees will apply. Any cost for the failure of first-time delivery will be due for payment when rescheduling the delivery.
Goods must be returned in the condition upon sale, with original packing and all relating parts accompanying the product. the handling fee is 10% on all goods returned.
Returns and Refunds are handled according to Suppliers’ Guarantees/Warranties. We reserve the right to send the product for technical evaluation before repairing, refunding, or exchanging the product. All refunds/returns are subjected to Management’s approval and should be exchanged/refunded within 7 (SEVEN) days after purchase. The original invoice, applicable bank card and card slip relating to the transaction must be present when a refund/credit is requested. No refunds/ exchanges on Sundays or sales made over 90 days ago.

Upon delivery or collection, the onus of transportation of goods is entirely on the customer.
This invoice is a final and binding agreement between the customer and Builders-Mart. Builders-Mart and the customer will sign off any amendments to this agreement before implementation.
No staff member or representative of Builders-Mart, other than the financial director has authority to bind Builders-Mart otherwise than in the transaction recorded in this invoice. No different or additional agreement, whether verbal or written, shall bind Builders-Mart.
Refunds are not made if the product was customized to meet the customer’s needs, damaged by lightning or during loading or transportation after being checked by Security, or if the product is short. Locks and electrical products are not refunded if the original packaging has been broken. Refunds are, without exception, not made for Rhino Boards, Rhino Cornice, Lintels, Brick Force (allow for at least 7% breakage during transportation), Single Bricks (where the pallet was paid for), Welding Rods, Light Bulbs/Fluorescent Lights, Geyser Elements/Thermostat, and Pine Products. If a product is special, it is not exchangeable with other stock. There will be no exchange/returns on goods purchased that are less than R100.00 (ONE HUNDRED RAND).
