Builders Mart in the City of Roses has again shown their commitment to building a better community and lending a helping hand for those in need.
This comes after the Superstore help spread joy over the festive season by making a donations to two non-profit organizations in Phahameng, Bloemfontein.
One of the beneficiaries was Ikgutseng, a home for orphans.
Eddie RASOEU, DA PR Councillor, said that the leader of the DA in the province – Dr Roy Jankielson encouraged the DA family to show compassion to needy families during the festive season. He then decided to ask Builders Mart to buy groceries for the orphanage and they agreed instantly. Groceries were donated to an orphanage and a school with some needs.
The DA expresses gratitude to Builders Mart. We will establish some strategic partnership with Builders Mart to do more this year.
Nafeesa Abdullah, Admin officer at Builders Mart, said that it was “Absolutely heart warming and touching, being able to give to those in need and experiencing the joy on those kids faces. It was the best feeling.”
